  100. Hello Sir. I have just passed 12th with 79.53%. I’m not interested in theoretical subjects. I like practical subjects like maths and accounts but I don’t want to do CA. I read about the animation course in your article. Is it a good for girls too? I’m confused. Please tell me which career is suitable for me.
    Do reply.

    • Yes, animation courses are good for girls too. You need to have creativity and sketching/drawing skills to succeed in that field.

  101. i got 90% in 12 i am good in accounts and economics but i do not like business studies . which course will i prefer or BCA

  102. Sir,
I got 78% in my +2 exams this year.
And I’m not good at theoretical subjects. I am more inclined towards maths, accounts, or numerical of economics. But not able to decide what to do. Please suggest something.
Also could you tell that event management. Is good course for girls? And where it is the best I mean where it could be done?
    In India or outside ?

    • Pure mathematics- Bachelor of Statistics or Actuarial Science. Accounts- CA or CMA. Economics- B Economics. These are some courses that I can suggest, based on your strengths and likes.

Event management is a decent field. In India itself, this course can be studied. Yes, this course is good for girls too.

    • It depends on your passion and interests. Ask yourself what you really want to study. Both fields have scope in India. If you are interested in animation, you may go for courses like BA in Animation and VFX, B.Sc. in Animation and VFX, BA in Animation and CGI etc. For Fashion designing career, you may go for courses like Bachelor of Fashion Technology and Bachelor of Design- Fashion Technology.

I aspire to do pg in M.B.A. However, I’m confused between B.M.S. and B.B.A. courses. What should I opt for in your opinion? Any other suggestions will be appreciated.
    Thank you!

    • My personal choice would be foundation course like B.Com. or CA, B Economics etc. I’m saying this because you’ll gradually cover management education in PG phase (MBA). Still, if you want to go forward with your present choice, take up BBA course.

  104. What should I do… I am only interested in theory subjects. my practical are weak and I am good in business… so confused
Plzz suggest something related to theory.

Can i do BA ECONOMICS being a commerce student?

    • You may take Bachelor of Economics course. After Bachelor of Social Work, you may go for Master of Social Work.

    • Yes, Commerce stream students are eligible to take part in Civil Service Examination after graduation. Easy or hard- that depends on your aptitude.

  121. Most of my relatives are saying that CA is very tough.
Most of them say that it may take more years to be completed.
So is there any high salary paid jobs none other than CA?
    or Nice course like CA?

    • Yes, CA course is tough. But if you have decent academic aptitude and are willing to put in the required effort, it won’t be tough to complete the course. Duration depends on how many attempts you take to crack the exams present in the course.

Other good courses are- CMA, Actuarial Science, B.Stat., Management courses etc.

  122. Hi I am a commerce student and I gave my HSC this year am waiting for the result .As a commerce student i was first planning to do BMS but besides that I am also interested in counseling psychology so according to you which is better to choose as a career?

I would be grateful if you could suggest degree with great career prospects and a high salary pay.
I’m a bright student and have equal interests in all subjects. However, i don’t aspire to become a C.A. I wish to financially support my family in the future.

  127. i would like to join BBA in airport management….i need to know that…is it good or not….and pls give me guidance..

  141. Hello Sir,
My name is Allen. I studied PCMB till 12th. However I’m looking forward to do a career related with the financial sector. My primary aim is to pursue a career in Economics. My parents believe I should have another plan as a backup if I fail to meet up with the cut off percentage required to join the college. I don’t have any interest in pursuing Medicine ( as its too common) or Engineering (as I’m hopeless at Physics). Now I don’t know what else to aim for other than Economics and I seek your assistance on that aspect.

    • Allen, other than Engineering and Medicine, numerous interesting courses do exist. Some notable ones are- B.Sc. programs, Animation and Multimedia (BA, B.Sc., B.Des. etc), Bachelor of Design courses, Architecture, Travel and Tourism management courses, Management education, Law (Integrated law course) etc. Other than economics, any other favorite subject?

  142. Hello sir i m confused between event managment n animation course bt i want to do both according to u which is best course n the best university for that ?? Another question is interior design nice one ??

    • Rupal, all courses have their own scope and potential. The key is to find a course that suits one’s aptitude and talent. It is difficult to compare event management and animation. Both are different courses leading to totally different careers! You have to select one among them based on your skills. Tell me more about your strengths, likes etc.

  143. hello sir my name is ranjana and sir i want to know about mass communication in tourism and some best institute for the. please sir tell me about this and the criteria

  144. Sir,actually I am a commerce student and my sibling is a science student, both have appeared for the 12th. Our fathers are together in the business. My sibling does not want to study science as it wont help our business. So can u suggest us any course. We will be obliged.

    • Smit, management courses will be good for you guys. UG level courses include BBA and BMS. But it’d be better to go for MBA. It is PG program though. You may pursue 3 or 4 years long courses (including BBA) and after completing it, go for MBA.

  145. Hlo sir

    • Tanu, soft skills course is aimed at improving employability skills of students. Doing that course along won’t be enough. That course can be pursued after any undergraduate course to improve your confidence and communication skills. I’ve heard about short term courses. They are job oriented. Suitable for getting entry level jobs in small and medium scale industries.
