A candidate who has specialized in finance will stand a better chance of becoming a finance manager at an MNC. Similarly, candidates passing out from IIMs will get a better salary package and job when compared to candidates passing out from tier 2 and 3 management institutes.

Let us talk about salary now. Starting salary depends upon factors such as – your level of education and status of your college. An MBA holder will get a better salary when compared to a BBA or BMS graduate. And candidates hailing from premier management institutes command better salary package when compared to others.

On an average, a BBA graduate can expect around 30-60K INR per month. An MBA holder can expect around 40-80K INR per month. These are just average figures. For example, an IIM MBA holder can easily get a package of 100-200K INR per month.
