In the first section, we will check out the list of UG level aviation courses. In the second section, we will check out the PG level aviation courses.

The Aviation sector has been providing numerous job opportunities to graduates in India. In the past, in case of India, there weren’t many courses that focused on the aviation sector and groomed students to take on roles in that sector. Usually, Graduates of any discipline used to apply for aviation jobs. They used to get trained after they were selected after an interview. At present, things have changed! There are many aviation sector oriented courses present, which cater to the needs of the aviation Industry! In this article, I will list some of the best Aviation field related courses, which students may pursue after finishing their 12th standard schooling. As usual, I will provide basic course details, eligibility criteria, scope and job opportunities associated with the course etc.

Aviation courses for 12th passed students!

Note that career prospects and the possibility of landing a high paying job in Aviation sector depends a lot on the quality of the Institute from which you pursue the course. Yes, type of course and aptitude of the candidate also plays a huge role. Make sure that you research well about an Institute/College, before taking admission in it. The first thing you should check is whether the Institute you are interested is approved and recognized by the appropriate authorities or not! Before selecting a particular course, make sure that you have the aptitude and ability to thrive in the role associated with that course. For example- not everyone can become a Commercial Pilot! If you don’t have the aptitude to become a Pilot, it would be better to choose another Aviation course!

Can I do combination of any of the above mentioned programs. e.g .(BBA+MBA+AME) with AME for technical aspects. Will doing a technical program like Bsc or AME help me with growth prospect?
Which other plan can you recommend?

      • It is good to have a backup plan. Graduation course will provide you with that ‘cushion’ or ‘backup plan’. In some cases, airlines also happen to recruit graduates (from relevant disciplines I mentioned above) directly after their graduation and train them. You may try that way. If you find no luck, you may then go for Air hostess training. Just my suggestion though. The final decision is yours. Discuss well with your parents. If possible, also consult someone you know, who is related to the field of aviation and take his/her help too.
