  15. Hello Sir,
. I’m studying in a England school. This school has a syllabus called IGCSE. This is an England syllabus called Edexel. This syllabus goes on a pattern of O and A levels. Which means O level is 2 years and is considered as the 10th and the A level is 2 years wich is considered as the 12th (in India). So we are supposed to take only specific subjects . In O level we can take 7 and in A level we can take 4 (max).(THESE LEVELS ARE REALLY HARD COMPARED TO INDIAN SYLLABUS) . So I need your help to see which subjects I should take in my O and A levels to complete B.sc. in air hostess training IN INDIA!!
    Thank you .

    • As far as I know, there are no ‘specific subjects’ required. The minimum criteria is- “12th passed or equivalent”.

    • Pursuing relevant Bachelor’s course (ones mentioned in the article) will be better. Bachelor’s course offers that ‘cushion’ or backup plan. It also ensures post retirement work safety. Most airlines offer good training. Talking about private institutes offering courses, I’m not much knowledgeable about them.

    • Approach an air hostess training institute and secure admission. Admission process varies from one institute to another- direct or after qualifying test. You may also apply for air hostess recruitment drives held by airlines. If you crack the test and interview, you will be selected to undergo training. On training completion, you will be asked to join on duty.

    • Shweta, training period could be anywhere between 3-6 months. Detailed courses may be even longer, when it comes to duration. I’m not quite sure about the fee structure. But it could be around 50-80K Rupees and may vary from one institute to another.

    • Rahul, looking from job prospects’ point of view, cabin crew training courses have good scope. Such courses are not too costly, but you’ve to choose institute carefully. I don’t suggest institutes since I don’t have knowledge about state wise institutes offering this training course and their quality.

  23. Dhruti, the general review about their institute is favorable. I’m not well aware about that particular branch though. Just make sure that they have good placement record and training facility. Especially simulation and hands on training facilities have to be given much importance.

If you are not satisfied with online reviews and research, you may visit the institute and take a little tour there. You may enquire the present students of the institute about the quality of training provided there. You may also get in touch with students who have completed training from the institute. These are some good ways to get knowledge about the quality of the institute.
