State wise entrance test marks are usually taken into consideration. Depending upon the institute, institute wise entrance test may also exist. Secure admission in Government institute. Fees will be lesser than what it is in Private institutes.

Anusha, usually state entrance tests are enough. Some institutes have their private selection test. Talking about psychology, during M.Sc. phase, you may specialize in sub disciplines within that field. After course completion, you may work as psychologist.

Sir, I’m really passionate about science especially PHYSICS and I have decided not to go into engineering or medical fields. I have decided to take up a BSc course in a reputed college basically: The IISc.
Since i am in 10 presently i have to choose either Biology or Computer science along with PCM next year………….i’m really confused what to choose..
And then, regarding the job that i’ll get after this course…b’cause i have to assure my parents about my career so that they can make plans..
because i really know that the value of BSc has degraded to great extent but for such a silly reason I can never give up my passion towards physics.
so, can i get seat in well reputed universities like MIT provided i do my Indian association of Physics olympiad well……

Ramyashri, if pursued from good Indian colleges, B Sc Degree still has good value. You may choose computer science as the optional subject. Regarding jobs, the good ones available are- teaching (after M Sc), Research and Development, Government Organizations (ISRO, DRDO etc). There are many job opportunities like the ones mentioned before. You just have to ensure that you pursue the course from a reputed institute and score good grades throughout the program!
