Engineering Entrance Exams 2023

1 JEE MAIN

JEE MAIN is a National level exam which is coordinated by the CBSE board for getting admission to the Engineering courses including B.Tech, B.Arch, B.E and many courses to choose from after class 12.

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main Entrance

In order to appear for the JEE Main exam the candidates should have 5 subjects compulsorily in the higher secondary examination. There are also a limited number of attempts to appear for this exam which is a total of three attempts.

 

There is an age limit set up to 25 years, above which you are not allowed to sit for the exams but the students belonging to SC, ST and PWD category can appear for the exam till 30 years of age as they are given an age relaxation of five years.

 

2 JEE Advanced

The students who qualify in the JEE Mains are eligible for taking JEE Advanced. This exam is supervised by the Indian Institute of Technology and students get admission to the various UG Engineering courses plus other science degrees which are offered at about 16 Indian Institutes of Technology and at ISM, Dhanbad.

 

There will be two languages used in the question paper set written in both Hindi and English. A total of 3 sections will be there separately on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

 

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced

The candidates should have qualified for the JEE Main before he/she sits for this exam. On the basis of your performance in JEE Main you will be qualified for this test i.e., you have to secure a rank in the top 224,000 in the JEE Main exam Paper I.

 

The age limit of the student to appear for this exam is up to 25 years and the SC, ST, PWD category students are provided with an age relaxation of five years. The maximum attempts for the candidates to appear for this exam is only 2 times in the successive years.

 

The last criteria is that the student appearing for this exam is not a previous IIT candidate and even those students whose admissions were cancelled after joining at any IIT are not allowed to appear as well.

 

3 BITSAT

BITSAT stands for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test which organizes admission for the class 12 students to get admitted to various engineering courses at several BITS campuses situated in Goa, Hyderabad and Pilani.

 

It is basically an online examination providing students an opportunity to get admissions by undertaking degree courses like Pharmacy, Engineering and Information Systems.

 

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT

The candidates appearing for the BITSAT exam after class 12 should come from a well-recognized State or Central Board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The students must have a good proficiency in English. To get an admission in B.Pharm the students must have passed their class 12 exams from a well-recognized board with mainly including Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English.

 

In order to be eligible for this exam a student have to score an average of 75% marks in core subjects like Mathematics or Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Along with this, the students have to get 60% of marks in every paper separately for Physics, Mathematics or Biology and Chemistry. The first rank holders get a direct admission and don’t have to worry about their BITSAT marks.

 

4 VITEEE

The Vellore Institute of Technology is responsible for supervising the Entrance Exam for Engineering. It provides the students with an opportunity to get admitted to the various Institutes by undertaking several B.Tech degree courses. This is an online test and you will get admissions based on your VITEEE score rankings. The various B.Tech programs are –

Eligibility Criteria for VITEEE Entrance

Students appearing for this exam should have passed with an average 60% of marks in Mathematics or Biology, Physics and Chemistry in the higher secondary examinations. Architecture Entrance Exams 2023

1 NATA

Medical Entrance Examinations 2023

1 NEET for UG

Eligibility Criteria for NEET

The student should belong to the science stream in class 12 with Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English subjects. The age limit to appear for this exam is 25 years. There is an advantage of this particular examination i.e., you can appear for this exam as many times you want, no limit is mentioned regarding this. The minimum age to appear for this entrance is 17 years.

 

2 AIIMS MBBS

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences is known for conducting this entrance exam for giving the students an opportunity to get admitted in the AIIMS, New Delhi. Apart from the AIIMS New Delhi you can also get admission in the other eight AIIMS Institutes. You can register yourself for this exam via online mode.

 

Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS MBBS

In order to sit in this entrance examination the candidate must be at least 17 years of age. The students should have passed the 12th class exams with Chemistry, Physics, Biology and English and must secure 60% of marks. For the students belonging to the category of ST/SC/OBC should score 50% of marks in class 12 qualifying exams.

 

3 JIPMER MBBS

JIPMER MBBS entrance test is organized by the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, giving the students an opportunity to get admitted in their institute for the MBBS course. 200 seats are available for the students who qualify for the entrance. This is an online computer-based examination only.

 

Eligibility Criteria for JIPMER

Your admission will be purely based on the marks you score at JIPMER medical entrance exam. You should be at least 17 years of age to appear for this exam. There is no maximum age limit as such. You should have Biology or Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry and English as the core subjects in your higher secondary qualifying examination. You must pass in the above subjects and secure 50% of marks in the overall subjects.

 

4 AIPVT

The All India Pre Veterinary Test is organized to provide an opportunity to the students to get admitted to the 5 years Bachelor of Veterinary Science course as well as AH courses. A total of 15 percent seats are provided in the Government owned Veterinary Institutes in India except Jammu and Kashmir.

 

Eligibility Criteria for AIPVT

It is required for the candidates to be 17 years of age to appear for the examination. The maximum age limit to sit for the test is 25 years. The age limit is 30 years for the candidates belonging to the SC/OBC/ST category as they have a provision for age relaxation up to 5 years.

 

The candidates should have passed the class 12 qualifying examinations with Chemistry, Physics, Biology and English as the core subjects. A student must score an average of 50% of marks in the total subjects and it is also necessary to pass in the mentioned subjects.

 

Law Entrance Exams 2023

These entrance exams are organized by the national or state levels and various universities that offer law courses like BA LLB, LLB, BBA LLB, LLM and many other courses. The several law entrance exams are stated below that will give you an overview about the nature of the exams –

 

1 CLAT

The Common Law Admission Test is organized to give an opportunity to the students for undertaking admissions in the UG as well as PG programs at 14 well-known National Law Institutes. 3 All India Law Entrance Test (AILET)

The AILET entrance test is organized in order to select candidates who all want to pursue a career in B.A or LLB. A total of 80 seats shall be allotted among which 10 seats will be available for the Foreign Nationals.

 

Eligibility Criteria for AILET

Regarding B.A and LLB, it is stated that the candidate should have scored at least 50% marks in the higher secondary exams. The age limit of the candidates appearing for the entrance exam must be below the age of 21 years. Candidates should secure 40% of marks in AILET entrance test to get an admission in the Law colleges.

 

Agriculture Entrance Exams 2023

4 CG PAT

Science Entrance Examinations 2023

Science Entrance tests are organized to provide opportunity to students who want to undertake a science related career. 1 GSAT

GSAT is one of the important Science Admission Exam. You need to fill up the application form online at their official site of GITAM University which is gitam.edu and pay 550 rupees online in order to sit for the exam. You can even send your application by post, mentioning the name of the candidate along with the mail id and you need to send a demand draft of 550 rupees. For getting selected for the science programs the student must obtain average marks of 50% in the examination.

Eligibility Criteria for IGRUA

The candidates appearing for the exam must be 17 years of age and should have English at class 12 qualifying examination plus scored 55% average marks in both Physics and Mathematics. For the SC/ST category students it is 50% average marks in Physics and Mathematics and English as the core subject in class 12. The General category students are required to pay an application fee of 10,000 rupees online and the SC/ST category students does not require paying any fees.

 

Hotel Management Entrance Exams 2023

The Hotel Management entrance exams are organized by various colleges to give an opportunity to the students to take admissions in hotel management courses by applying for the entrance exams. Below is the list of all Hotel Management courses –

 

1 NCHMCT JEE

4 AIHMCT

5 BVP HM
