Passing 12th Science stream is not very easy task. Especially for below average as well as mediocre students, 12th Science board exams could be tricky. Tough question papers often results in even mediocre students getting failed in 12th science board exams! I often get bombarded by questions from students who have failed in 12th board examinations. All they want to know is how they could pursue a professional course like Engineering despite failing in 12th standard. After getting too may queries, I decided to write an article about this topic. To find answers to this problem, read on-

Success-Failure

Clearing 12th board exams is important

Even though there is a workaround that will help one pursue Engineering without having to pass 12th Science, I still believe that clearing 12th Science board examinations after spending 2 years on schooling is very important. Students who have failed in the examinations may either take the re-test procedure, offered by respective state boards.

If you are interested to go for a more flexible option, try NIOS. NIOS stands for National Institute of Open Schooling. Using the programs offered by NIOS, one may easily pursue 12th studies without attending regular school and even appear for board examinations!

Failed students may use their 10th standard’s mark sheet to pursue Diploma Engineering

If you have failed in 12th board examination and want to go for Engineering, it is easy to get admission in Diploma Engineering programs by using one’s 10th standard’s mark sheet! After completing Diploma course in this way, one may make the switch and join an Engineering program using merit obtained in Diploma program! This is called D to D (Diploma to Degree) switch!

Even though such an option exists, I still urge students to re-appear for board examinations and clear it! There are two ways to do this task- via NIOS or via regular re-test taken by state boards.
