ONGC is a company that is making profit each year. The company offers job security. Also, the pay scale in case of Official Language Officer- E 1 Level is also pretty decent. It is 24,900-50,500 Rupees, with an increment of 3% per year.

Eligibility criteria-

* Age limit
General- 30 years; SC- 35 years, OBC- 33 years, Persons with disabilities- 40 years (further relaxed 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC), Departmental candidates- till the extent of their service given in ONGC, Ex-Servicemen- 35 years.
* Educational qualifications
Candidates must have a Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with minimum 60% marks. They must also have pursued English as a subject during Graduation.
Selection Procedure-
First of all, candidates who satisfy the above two conditions have to appear for UGC-NET’s (University Grant Commission- National Eligibility Test) Hindi subject examination.
Candidates have to qualify the examination and score more than the cut-off marks specified by UGC-NET.
Candidates declared qualified by UGC-NET will be shortlisted by ONGC management for further selection process.
