Question- How to become Commercial Pilot after completing 10th Standard?
Answer-
To become a Commercial Pilot, you need to possess a CPL (Commercial Pilot License). This License can only be obtained after undergoing Flight Training at a recognized Flying School.
To get Admission in such Flight Schools, a candidate has to meet certain conditions and criteria. Educational qualification required for admission is- 10+2 Science stream schooling with minimum 50% marks (may vary from institute to institute).
So, in case of 10th Standard students, they usually have two options to meet this criteria of education- wait for 2 years and complete 10+2 Science schooling from a regular school or enroll for 10+2 science stream course at Open School like NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). You may also check – Distance education programs.
Many Flying Schools help candidates get through 10+2 schooling through NIOS. So, you may directly approach such schools after 10th and put forward your application to complete 12th through this mode of schooling. However, a candidate may also have to clear further selection stages like- Medical tests, Pilot Aptitude test etc also in addition to meeting this Schooling requirement!

In short, 10th standard students must focus on their studies and complete 10+1 and 10+2 (Science stream, mathematics group). After completing 12th standard, they are eligible to pursue Commercial Pilot Training program. For more details about that, check this article out- How to become Commercial Pilot after 12th.
