Earlier, I mentioned in detail about how Bank of Maharashtra customers may check their account balance details as well as last 3 transaction details through SMS. To make things even more simple and secure, Bank of Maharashtra has also rolled out the brand new Mobile Banking app. The app is called MahaMobile app. Using this app, a customer will be able to perform tasks like- Account Balance enquiry, Mini statement request, Fund transfer, pay bills, reset ATM PIN, change MPIN etc. Here, you will be reading more about MahaMobile app.
Before installing the app and making use of its features, Bank of Maharashtra Customers must ensure that their mobile number is registered with the Bank. If your mobile number hasn’t been registered with the Bank yet, you may approach your home Branch and get the registration process done!
How to install the app and set it up?
Bank of Maharashtra has ensured that the app is available on all three major platforms- Android, iOS and Windows Phone. The app is available for free at Google Play Store, Apple’s App Store as well as Windows Store.
Customer may send an SMS- “MAHAMOBILE” to the number- 9223181818. The Bank will send a link, using which one may download the app.
After successfully installing the app, customer will have to go through registration process. This process can be initiated by clicking on the ‘new registration button’.
To register, customer will have to enter User ID, the 11 digit CIF number. Please note that the phone you have installed the app must have your registered number SIM as the default SIM. If you haven’t registered your mobile number with the Bank, you must do that task first. You may get it done by visiting your home Branch.
After completing the final step of registration (using Internet Banking, ATM Card or approaching the Home Branch), customer will need to set MPIN and MTPIN. After doing that, the entire process can be said to be completed!

Once the registration process is over, customers may open the app and perform tasks like- checking account balance, get mini statement, change ATM PIN etc!
