In order to use this service, your mobile number must be registered with the bank. In other words, your mobile number must be linked to your bank account! If your mobile number is registered with the bank, simply follow these steps –

  1. Compose a text message in the following format – ‘REG [space] your account number’.
  2. Send the above message to this number – 09223488888. Send this message from your registered mobile number.
  3. After registering successfully, you will receive a confirmation message from SBI.
  4. Missed call banking service is now enabled on your account.

 

How to check SBI account balance by giving missed call?

After registering for missed call banking service, a customer may dial 09223766666 to check his/her account balance. Dial 09223766666 from your registered mobile number. After 1-2 rings, the call will get disconnected automatically. Once disconnected, the customer will receive an SMS from the bank. Check the SMS and you will find your account balance details in it.

 

How to get mini statement by giving missed call?

Dial 09223866666 from your registered mobile number to fetch mini statement. Dial 09223766666, the call will get disconnected automatically after 1-2 rings. Once disconnected, the customer will receive an SMS from the bank. Check the SMS and you will find details about your last five transactions in it.
