ICICI is a well known private bank in India. In India, the nationalized banks are ruling the scene. But, thanks to players like ICICI, the private banking scenario is also catching up with the nationalized banks! Talking about ICICI, they offer variety of banking services to its customers. Many of my relatives and friends too have an account with them and the general review about them has been very positive. In this article, I’ll be sharing a phone number, which will let the bank account holders find their account balance through missed call to a number.
Phone number for checking ICICI bank balance through missed call-
The phone number is- 02230256767. Customers just have to dial this number. Once connected, ring will be made and after a few rings, the call will be disconnected automatically. So, a customer will not be charged at all, for making use of this missed call service.
Once the call gets disconnected, the customer has to wait for an SMS from ICICI bank. The SMS will contain details regarding Account balance.
2nd method- Balance enquiry through SMS (SMS Banking)
Sometimes it happens that due to technical issues, the above mentioned missed call Balance enquiry number may not work. Under such circumstances, ICICI Bank customers may use the SMS Banking facility and check their Account balance details as well as last 3 transaction details.
To use this service, a customer’s number must be registered for SMS Banking facility. This can be done by approaching the home Branch of the Bank, where you opened your Account.
To do a simple Balance enquiry, just send the SMS- IBAL to the number- 5676766 or 9215676766. To check last 3 transaction details, send the SMS- ITRAN to the number 5676766 or 9215676766. After sending any of the two mentioned messages, Bank will respond with appropriate details via an SMS!
Important note regarding missed call balance enquiry system-
Before you dial the above mentioned number, make sure that your phone number is registered with the bank! Yes, you will get the SMS from ICICI bank only if you dial the missed call service number using your registered mobile number, that you entered while filling up the bank account application form.

In case you have not registered your mobile number with the bank yet, approach nearest ICICI bank branch and request them to register your mobile number. Only then will you be able to avail the missed call balance enquiry service!

Aditya, I think the account has not been well associated with the phone number. Why not approach the bank and check whether things have been registered properly?
hello sir/mam, I have been transfer money my home a/c Rs.10,000 as on 01 March 2016 with ATM machine but i wrong a/c dial ATM machine transfer other a/c Rs. 10,000. Vivek, make sure that your number is registered with the Bank. Missed call service works as long as your number is registered with the Bank.

I got registered for 3D secure with 6 digits pin. Received a message on my registered telephone no that I am registered for this service but when I tried to make a payment i got a message stating that you cannot proceed because you are not registered for 3D secure.

Vishnu Kumar, the number sure is a working one! From the message that you got, we can clearly make out that there has been some issue regarding mobile number registration. No bank account details have been attached to that number. DO go to your home branch and enquire about this issue.
