Engineering is the most popular choice among Science stream students in India. In order to secure admission into reputed engineering colleges, they must crack relevant entrance tests! Entrance exams are held each year and the term 2022 is not different either!

 

In India, there are different types of engineering entrance tests. Some tests are used for admission into undergraduate level programs (B.E., B.Tech., B.Arch. etc). Some other tests are used for admission into Master’s level programs.

 

In short, there exists numerous exams that could help you secure admission into programs such as – B.E./B.Tech./Science/B.Arch./M.E./M.Tech./PhD.

 

In India, there are two main types of Engineering colleges –

  • Government Engineering colleges
  • Self Financed (Private) Engineering colleges

National level exams are conducted at All-India level. These tests are used for admission into Central Government Operated colleges and/or state & private colleges.

 

State level exams are conducted for facilitating admission into State Government operated colleges and/or private colleges.

 

Some Self Financed Engineering colleges and universities are known to conduct their own entrance exam and interview. They are known as institute-wise tests.
