MD Course: Basic Details
MD stands for Doctor of Medicine. It is a postgraduate level medical education program. In other words, it is a PG level medical course.
Candidates who have completed MBBS from a recognized institute/university are eligible to pursue MD course. The course duration is three years.
After completing MBBS, graduates usually apply for PG medical admission. MD is one of the most popular PG programs among these graduates.
