IT with Cloud Computing details and in the last section, we will deal with topics such as – jobs and career prospects.

Come, let us deal with section number 1 now. Let us begin –

IT and Cloud Computing: Everything you need to know

IT stands for Information Technology. IT deals with management, storage and protection of data/information

IT plays a huge role in areas such as – education, Governance, defence, entertainment, shopping and E-Commerce etc. As I mentioned before, IT sector deals with management, storage and protection of data/information. For performing these tasks, we need Information systems. Information systems are made of hardware, software, database and networks.

In simple terms, cloud computing deals with the use of a network of remote servers hosted on the internet to store, manage and process data. In other words, cloud computing gives a on-demand availability of computer resources.

When it comes to ‘normal’ or ‘regular’ computing, a user accesses data or computer resources on the computer’s hard drive. In other words, data or resources are stored on the local device. In the case of cloud computing, data and computer resources are available on demand, and hosted on the internet.

The main advantage that cloud technology offers over regular computing is – it can be accessed from anywhere (using internet connection). In case of regular computing, a user must have access to the device (computer system). In case of cloud computing, one can access the data or resources from anywhere, using any compatible device. All that’s needed for accessing the data is – internet connection!

Come, let us move to section number 2 now. In this section, we will take a closer look at the course details. Duration, syllabus, fees, colleges, admission process – readers will find these details in section number 2.
