Diploma in Engineering and B.Tech. are undergraduate level programs. 12th Science pass students are eligible to pursue B.Tech. programs. Diploma in Engineering programs can be pursued after completing 10th or 12th. Here’s a list of Engineering courses after 12th. Technically speaking, Diploma in Engineering Degree is not as superior as B.Tech. Degree. Employers value B.Tech. graduates. B.Tech. candidates tend to earn more salary than their Diploma in Engineering counterparts. How to pursue B.Tech. after Diploma, you may ask. This is when B.Tech. Lateral entry comes handy!
What is B.Tech. Lateral Entry?
Lateral entry program enables a Diploma in Engineering candidate to get admitted directly into the third semester (second academic year) of relevant B.Tech. program. For example, imagine that you’ve finished Diploma in Mechanical Engineering program. You now hold Diploma in Mechanical Engineering qualification. Also check – DtoD Admission. Using lateral entry scheme, you may join B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering program’s 3rd semester (directly). This is how B.Tech. lateral entry works! B.Sc. graduates are also eligible to make use of B.Tech. lateral admission process. Come, let us check out the course details. Here they are –
