The main aim of an integrated law program is to give 12th passed students a chance to pursue law education right after completing 10+2 class. LL.B. is the minimum qualification required to become a lawyer in India. Technically, it is a Master’s Degree course! Yes, LL.B. stands for Bachelor of Law. But don’t let this name fool you! It is not a Bachelor’s Degree course! It is a Master’s Degree course. You can apply for LL.B. admission only after completing Bachelor’s Degree course! It means that 12th pass students can’t directly apply for LL.B. right after schooling. This is where integrated law programs come handy! These programs combine two Degrees together. As a result, even 12th pass students are eligible to apply for admission. BA LL.B., B.Sc. LL.B., BBA LL.B. – these are examples of integrated law courses. The course duration is 5 years.
