Diploma in Pharmacy is a Diploma certificate course. It is also known by the short names of D Pharm and D Pharma. It is 2 years long course. Students who have completed 12th Science stream from a recognized board (or equivalent) are eligible to pursue this course.
Bachelor of Pharmacy is an undergraduate level bachelor’s degree program. It is also known by the short name of B Pharm. It is 4 years long course. Students who have passed 12th Science stream from a recognized board (or equivalent) are eligible to pursue this course.
B Pharm after D Pharm
Technically, B Pharm course is superior to Diploma in Pharmacy. B Pharm is more valued than its Diploma counterpart. When it comes to career prospects and growth, B Pharm will be the better choice. No wonder why many students want to pursue B Pharm after completing Diploma in Pharmacy!
Diploma in Pharmacy passed folks are eligible to secure admission in B Pharm course. After successfully completing 2 years long D Pharm course, successful candidates may apply for admission directly into the second academic year of B Pharm course.
Seats are allotted to deserving candidates on the basis of merit marks or marks scored by them in Diploma in Pharmacy course. This admission process is similar to the lateral entry process applicable in cases of many professional courses.

After B Pharm
After B Pharm, one may go for advanced courses like M.Pharm., Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) or PG Diploma courses (relevant ones). Master’s course can be used to specialize in disciplines within the field of pharmacy. After that, one may go for further advanced course like PhD.

Which course among (Bachelor of cardiovascular Technology( B.C.V.T) or B pharm or Bsc optometry) has better scope in India and abroad.
Iam totally interested in biology and in medical profession.
Which one should I prefer?
I have 92% in +2 VHS .So please suggest me the good course ?
Optometry and CVT would be better.
