Do you want to know more about the admission process?
Admission process
If you want to obtain a Government seat or admission into a reputed private college, you must crack the relevant entrance exam. These exams are conducted to facilitate merit-based admission process.
Under this system, seats are distributed among deserving candidates on the basis of their performance in relevant entrance exams and/or board exams. Some colleges are also known to conduct donation-based and direct admission processes.
Types of colleges
There exist two main types of pharmacy colleges in Haryana –
- Government pharmacy colleges.
- Private pharmacy colleges.
It is evident from the above list that the classification of colleges has been carried out on the basis of the type of entity that owns the college. Government institutes are managed and funded by the State or Central Government. Private institutes are managed and funded by private charitable trusts and organizations. These colleges are also known as self-financing colleges.
