M.Sc. Nursing Admission in West Bengal

M.Sc. Nursing is a PG level nursing education program. In order to apply for M.Sc. Nursing admission, you must have completed relevant UG level course (B.Sc. Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic). Before applying for admission, make sure that you meet all the eligibility criteria and requirements. Broadly speaking, there are two main types of nursing colleges in India – Private colleges and government colleges.   Private colleges are owned and managed by private trusts (educational, charitable and more). On the other hand, relevant department of the government owns and manages a government nursing college. Relevant exams are conducted to facilitate merit based admission process. Under merit based admission process, seats are distributed among deserving and eligible candidates on the basis of their performance in relevant entrance exam and/or degree program.   Some private nursing colleges also carry out direct admission process. Some of these colleges also carry out donation based (management quota) admission process.
