Nursing Post Basic). Before applying for admission, make sure that you meet all the eligibility criteria and requirements.
The admission process may vary from one college to another. It depends upon the type of college. Broadly speaking, there are two main types of nursing colleges in India – Private colleges and government colleges.
Private colleges are owned and managed by private trusts (educational, charitable, and more). On the other hand, the relevant department of the government owns and manages a government nursing college.
If you want to get into a government college or a good private nursing college, you must take part in the merit-based admission process. Some private nursing colleges also carry out a direct admission process. Some of these colleges also carry out a donation-based (management quota) admission process.
