Nursing colleges have been classified on the basis of the body that governs the college. Government colleges, as the name suggests, are managed and funded by the State Government. Private nursing colleges are managed and maintained by private charitable trusts and organizations. Government nursing colleges charge very low tuition fees. Due to this reason, students prefer govt colleges over other types of institutes. Since the Government bears all the expense associated with one such college, it is able to provide subsidized education to its students.
