B.Sc. Nursing: It is the most popular nursing education program in India. It is an undergraduate-level nursing course. Candidates who have completed 12th Science with PCB subjects are eligible to pursue this course. The course is 4 years long.
B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic): It is a Bachelor’s Degree nursing course. This program is also known as – B.Sc. Nursing (PB). This course is two years long. Candidates who have completed the GNM course are eligible to apply for B.Sc. Nursing (PB) admission.
M.Sc. Nursing: It is a Master’s Degree course. Technically, it is a Master of Science Degree course. It is a PG (postgraduate) level nursing program. The course duration is two years. Candidates who have completed B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent are eligible to pursue this course. By pursuing M.Sc. Nursing course, a candidate may specialize in a specific branch of medical science (nursing domain).
GNM: GNM stands for General Nursing and Midwifery. It is a Diploma certificate course. The course duration is 3.5 years long. Candidates who have passed the 12th standard are eligible to pursue this course. Eligibility criteria may vary from one institute to another though.
