B.Sc. Nursing Admission in Jharkhand for 2022
B.Sc. Nursing admission process depends upon the type of nursing college that you are interested in. To know more about the admission process, you must know more about the different types of nursing colleges first. Broadly speaking, nursing colleges in Jharkhand can be classified into two types – Government nursing colleges and private nursing colleges. As the name suggests, government nursing institutes are owned and managed by relevant department of the State Government. As a result, these colleges are able to provide subsidized education to its students. On the other hand, private nursing colleges are usually owned and managed by private entities such as – private charitable trusts, educational organizations, cultural boards etc. These colleges are known to charge relatively higher tuition fees. All government nursing colleges and most of the private (reputed) nursing colleges carry out merit based admission each year. In order to facilitate this process relevant entrance exams are carried out at state and/or national levels. Under merit based admission process, seats are distributed among deserving and eligible candidates on the basis of their performance in relevant entrance exam and/or board exam. However, some private colleges are known to conduct direct as well as donation based admission process.
