The minimum educational qualification required to become a lawyer in India is – a completed LL.B. program. Law aspirants have different options available in front of them to obtain this Degree.
They may pursue an integrated law course right after the 12th. After completing the academic program, they will obtain LL.B. Degree. Apart from that, they may even go for an LL.B. Degree after completing any Bachelor’s Degree course.
In short, there exist two ways in which a law aspirant can satisfy the minimum educational qualification. After meeting this criteria, a candidate must also get himself/herself registered with a relevant chapter of the Bar Council of India.
