BAMS Course in India

BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. It is an undergraduate level course. Technically, it is a Bachelor’s Degree course. In order to become an Ayurvedic Doctor in India, you must pass BAMS course and earn BAMS Degree Certificate! The academic program is 5.5 years long. One year of this period is dedicated towards compulsory internship. Students who have passed 12th Science with PCB subjects are eligible to pursue this course. The course will train you in both clinical and non-clinical aspects of ayurveda. Ayurveda system is well known for its lack of side effects.
