The list has not been ranked in any order. It consists of both Government and private B.Ed. colleges. Which type of college I must select? What’s the difference between these two types of colleges? Are these questions troubling you? Here are answers to these questions –

Government colleges are managed by relevant departments/wings of the State or Central Government. On the other hand, private colleges are managed by private charitable and/or educational trusts.

This is the main difference between these two types of colleges. Apart from that, Government colleges are known to charge relatively lower tuition fees than their private-sector counterparts. As a result, students prefer Govt colleges over private ones.

B.Ed. is the most popular teacher training program in India. But it is not the only teacher training program that is available in India though! Colleges mentioned in this list are known to offer different types of teacher training programs such as – B.Ed., M.Ed., Integrated B.Ed. programs etc.

If you want to secure admission into a good college, you must crack the relevant entrance exam/selection test/interview. This system of admission is known as the merit-based admission process. Reputed institutes rely on a merit-based admission process to select deserving candidates.

Some colleges are also known to carry out direct and/or donation-based admission processes. In short, the admission process may vary from one institute to another.
