The list consists of both Government and private B.Ed. colleges. What’s the difference between Govt and private colleges, you may ask. Private B.Ed. colleges are also known as self-financing colleges. These colleges are managed by private charitable and/or educational trusts. Government B.Ed. colleges are State-owned colleges. These colleges function under the guidance of relevant departments of the State Government (or Central Government in some cases).
Students prefer Govt colleges over private ones. Do you know why? The main factor responsible for this trend is – the low tuition fees charged by Govt institutes. Yes, Government colleges provide subsidized education to their students. If you want to get into a good college, you must crack the relevant entrance test/selection process/interview. Reputed institutes carry out merit-based admission processes to select deserving candidates. Some colleges carry out direct or donation-based admission processes.
