This article will be of help to folks, who are interested in the post of Havildar Education Science and Arts in the Army Educational Corps of Indian Army. Please note that the below mentioned information and procedures are applicable only to male candidates. Let us focus on the details regarding the selection process. First of all, we will check out eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, age limit, physical standards etc.
Age limit
In case of regular Civilian candidates, the age limit is- between 20 to 25 years of age. In case of remustered candidates, the upper age limit has been raised to 28 years. Please note that the age must be within the specified limits as on the first day of recruitment rally.
Educational Qualifications
Science stream and Arts stream students, who are well skilled in English or Hindi and have completed Graduation (or PG) course in any of the below disciplines from a Recognized University are eligible to apply-
Degrees in case of Science stream students- M Sc/B Sc/MCA/BCA/B Tech
Degrees in case of Arts stream students- MA/BA with English literature, Urdu literature, Hindi Literature, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics or Sociology.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of number of stages. They are- Screening test, physical fitness test, medical tests, written examination and teaching aptitude interview.
