Beware of fake Hyundai interview on Naukri.com

Recently, we warned you to be aware of fraudsters using naukri.com. Now, we are describing you how fraudsters pose as Hyundai Motors and dupe candidates. The emails and screenshots shown here are real ones that the author obtained after responding to the fraudster’s email.

After sending them my mobile number and address, they sent me this e mail:

So friends, please be aware of this scam! These emails are in no way related to Hyundai Motors! Hyundai motors have themselves warned people about fraudsters using their name to earn money. So don’t fall prey to this scam.

 

Date of Interview: 21st of JULY 2013

Your offer letter, appointment letter, accommodations details and air tickets will be couriered to your mailing address after payment for interview security.

The Job profile, salary offer, and date -time of interview will be mentioned in your offer letter.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The earlier the deposit is made the earlier your position will be secured by the Company HRD – direct recruitment manager.

Note: 15,100 INR Interview security deposit will be fully refunded back to you on the day of interview even if you are selected or not.

HYUNDAI MOTORS INDIA LIMITED(HMIL)

Their method is to lure candidates by promising them flight tickets and accomodation. But before attending the interview, they ask the candidates to pay up a ‘security fees’, which is refundable. The money has to be transferred to their bank account. But once you pay up, there will be no more response from them. You may also check – Tips to select the ideal career.

So friends, beware of this scam. Many people get this e mail and some fall prey to it. These e mails have nothing to do with Hyundai Motors. Hyundai themselves have warned people about this scam on their site! So, don’t fall prey to this scam.

Thanx to all for this eye-opener….I myself rcvd a mail today i.e. 08-12-2014 stating a refundable security deposit amount of Rs. 17500….I applied for a Chartered Accountant job….and on making my own diligence I found out that these guys are duping people bcz they are asking me to make the payment in the HR’s account and not the company’s account. I think we being CA’s are smart enuf to understand that no company of international repute wiuld ask the public to deposit the money in their employees name / account….thanx….1nce agn..

    I received this fake email 1 hour before on 2nd Nov, 2014. Glad to have awareness sites by you all and thankful for not distracted by frauds.

    Friends, I done little more flavor to this email, while replay. I invited them to my fake address in New Delhi, with telephone numbers and email address. (Originally its police station of Delhi and Tel Number)

    Let them taste their own Medicine. ;))

  5. Omg! Since1week I’m getting such fake interview call letters…once I thought to call in the given number no sooner I did i was treated so rudely as I was asking them some questions they got annoyed and that point I knew they are fakers and cheaters and nothing more..thanks for alerting us sir.

  11. The best way to recognize fake mails is the quality of language these fraudsters write. Usually they make grammatical errors and use wrong words at different places. And they will write things we have never asked for, to convince us.

  16. I also got same type of letter written direct recruitment letter, they changed their HR manager name(interesting one) Kimora chung lee, also they reduce fee amount to 12,700
    I was thinking to call on the no. and may be deposit the amt but thankfully i search in google and found its fake..:)
