Bank of Maharashtra customers have been asking question regarding the Bank’s missed call Balance enquiry number. I did some research and found a useful method, using which Bank of Maharashtra customers may check their account balance and last 3 transaction details by sending SMS. Read on to know more details about this facility.
How to check Bank of Maharashtra account balance through SMS
First of all, to make use of this service, a user must apply and register for SMS Banking facility. Here is how you can apply-
Go to the home branch and apply for SMS Banking facility. After applying, the Bank will send an MPIN to your address by post. Once the MPIN is received, the customer will have to call a toll free number (specified in the letter) and activate the account. Once these three steps are dealt with, you are ready to use SMS Banking facility of Bank of Maharashtra using your registered mobile number.
1 To check Account Balance details-
To check Account balance details, send the following format SMS- “BALAVL <space> Account number <space> MPIN” to the number- 9975494909. Please exclude the quotes while sending SMS. Once you send the SMS, the Bank will send you an SMS containing your Account Balance details.
2 To check last 3 transaction details-
To check last 3 transaction details, send the following format SMS- “LATRAN <space> Account Number <space> MPIN” to the number- 9975494909. Please exclude the quotes while sending SMS. Once you send the SMS, the Bank will send you an SMS containing details about last 3 transactions.
