Educational Qualifications
The educational qualifications that I will mention in this section are all essential. Candidates should kindly take note of this fact.
PhD Degree in Arabic is required, with good Academic record. It means that candidate should possess the said Degree with at least 55% aggregate marks (or equivalent Grade) from a recognized Indian University or accredited foreign University.
Candidates should also have contributed in some way to educational innovation, design and planning of new curriculum and must have guided doctoral candidates and research students. A candidate must be able to provide proof of the above mentioned feats.
A minimum score of 300 points in API (Academic Performance Indicator) based PBAS (Performance Based Appraisal System).
A candidate must have minimum 8 years of teaching experience and/or research in Arabic in an academic research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor at a Recognized University or Institute. Candidate also has to provide proof of published work (minimum 5 publications). Publications could be books or research/policy papers.
