This is a pull message service. Apart from the pull messaging service, the bank also provides a push messaging service. Push message alerts are sent by the bank when credit or debit transactions are carried out in your account.

In order to use push or pull SMS alert services, your mobile number must be registered for SMS banking. You may visit the bank branch and enable this service. SMS service charges are 15 INR per quarter. This charge may be revised with time.
