List of AP Courses Exams

AP stands for Advanced Placement. AP program was created by the College Board. This program has been introduced keeping the needs of high school students in mind. You may also check – Best high school electives.

 

Under AP program, college level subjects and examinations are offered to high school students. Based on a student’s performance in AP exams, American colleges and universities may provide him/her with placement and course credit.

 

At present, 38 courses and exams are available under the AP program. Here, you will find the names of all 38 AP courses. Apart from the names of courses, you will also find course content (syllabus).

 

AP exams are taken each May by students. The examination is conducted by the College Board. Students usually take the exam (in May each year) after taking one year long AP classes.

 

Generally, the exam consists of multiple-choice questions section and free-response section. AP exams scoring is done on a 1 to 5 scale.
