10+2 passed (in any stream – Arts, Commerce or Science) or its equivalent is the minimum qualification required.

Reputed institutes follow merit based admission process. Majority of institutes conduct a common entrance test to select deserving candidates. Name/nature of entrance test may vary from one state to another. Few institutes are known to conduct private (institute-wise) entrance tests.
