NEET UG application process consists of the following stages –

NEET UG 2022 Registration

1. Visit the official website of NEET (ntaneet.nic.in).
2. Click on ‘new user register here’ link.
3. NEET UG 2022 registration form will appear on screen. Fill it up correctly.
4. Enter your personal details – Candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, category, date of birth, disability (if any), nationality, state of eligibility, ID card type, ID card number etc.
5. Enter your contact details – mobile number, email id, alternate mobile number (optional), alternate email id (optional) etc.
6. Enter the security pin or captcha code.
7. Click on ‘preview and next’ button.
8. Enter a strong password and confirm it.
9. Configure your security question and answer.
10. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS. Enter the OTP in assigned space and click on ‘submit’ button.
11. Registration process is complete. Your provisional application number will be displayed on screen.

Steps to fill NEET UG 2022 Application Form

1. After registration, click on ‘click here to login’ link. You may even visit ntaneet.nic.in website and login.
2. Visit the login page and enter your credentials (application number and password).
3. Click on ‘login’ button.
4. Access the application form and fill it up.
5. Enter your personal details – Candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, category, date of birth, disability (if any), nationality, state of eligibility, ID card type, ID card number etc.
6. Enter your date of birth, native state and district.
7. Enter your choice of medium of question paper.
8. Enter your choice of examination city.
9. Click on ‘next’ button.
10. Enter class 10th academic details – Name of education board, name of school, address of school, year of passing/appearing, place of study, state of school, district of school, marks secured in 10th board exam and 10th board roll number.
11. Enter class 11th academic details – name of school, year of passing, place of study, state of school and district of school.
12. Enter class 12th academic details (qualifying exam) – Name of education board, name of school, address of school, year of passing/appearing, place of study, state of school, district of school, mode of preparation, qualifying exam code, year of passing/appearing in QE, marks obtained in qualifying exam and 12th board roll/enrollment number.
13. Enter class 12th subject-wise marks details – total marks (subject-wise) and marks secured in each subject.
14. Click on ‘next’ button.
15. Enter your permanent and correspondence address.
16. Enter details about your parents – parents’ name and occupation.
17. Enter the security pin/captcha code and click on ‘preview and submit’ button.
18. Preview your application form.
19. You will receive an OTP via SMS on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP in the assigned space.
20. Enter the captcha code/security pin and click on ‘final submit’ button.
21. Upload scanned images of your passport size photograph, signature specimen, left-hand thumb impression and postcard size photograph.
22. Click on ‘next’ button.
23. Check the payment details and click on ‘go for payment’ button.
24. Pay the application fee. You will be redirected to the confirmation page.
25. Download the confirmation page and take its printout for further use/reference.

• Personal details: Candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, category, date of birth, disability (if any), nationality, state of eligibility, ID card type, ID card number etc.

• Academic details (11th class): name of school, year of passing, place of study, state of school and district of school.
• Academic details (12th board/qualifying exam): Name of education board, name of school, address of school, year of passing/appearing, place of study, state of school, district of school, mode of preparation, qualifying exam code, year of passing/appearing in QE, marks obtained in qualifying exam and 12th board roll/enrollment number, total marks (subject-wise) and marks secured in each subject.

Guidelines for scanned images

While filling up the application form, a candidate is supposed to upload the following documents –

• Latest passport size photograph of the candidate
• Candidate’s signature specimen
• Left-hand thumb impression of the candidate

• All scanned images must be clear, not blurry.
• Upload your latest passport size photograph.
• Don’t wear cap/mask/sun-glass/dark glass while getting the photograph clicked.
• Signature specimen must be on white paper.
• Sign using black or blue inked pen only.

 

NEET UG 2022 Application Form Correction

The NTA allows applicants to make changes to their application form. For this purpose, they open an ‘application form correction window’. While the correction window is open, a candidate may update details/documents on his/her application form by paying correction fee.

Steps to correct NEET UG 2022 Application Form

1. Access the official website of NEET UG.
2. Enter your credentials and login.
3. On your NEET dashboard, click on ‘Online Correction’ tab/option.
4. Click on ‘correction in particulars’ to edit details and click on ‘correction in documents’ to change uploaded documents.
5. After editing details or changing documents, pay the correction fee.
6. Click on ‘preview and submit’ link.
7. Preview your application form.
8. You will receive an OTP via SMS on your registered mobile number.
9. Enter the OTP, enter the security pin and click on ‘final submit’ button.
10. Confirm your submission by clicking on ‘Yes, please do’ button.
11. Download the form and take its printout for further use/reference.
