WBJEE 2022 Application Process

WBJEE application process consists of the following main stages –

WBJEE 2022 Registration

1. Visit the official website of WBJEE.
2. Select WBJEE 2022 application form and click on ‘new registration’ button.
3. Fill up the application form by entering the following details – personal details and contact details.
4. Choose a strong password.
5. Configure your security question.
6. Enter security pin/captcha code.
7. Click on ‘submit’ button.
8. The system will generate your application number. Click on ‘Complete application form’ button to proceed to form-filling process.

 

Steps to fill WBJEE 2022 Application Form

1. After completing WBJEE registration, a candidate will obtain his/her application number. He/she may click on ‘Complete application form’ button to access his/her application form.
2. Access the application form and enter the following details – personal details, academic details, address, contact details, preferences etc.
3. Upload relevant documents.
4. Enter security pin/captcha code and click on ‘upload’ button.
5. Choose mode of payment.
6. Click on ‘proceed for payment’ button.
7. Make payment.
8. After making payment, you will be redirected to confirmation page.
9. Download confirmation page and take its printout for further use/reference.

 

While filling up the application form, candidates are supposed to enter the following details –

• Personal details: Candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, identification type, identification number etc.
• Contact details: Email id, mobile number and landline number (optional).
• Address: Residence address, locality, district, state and pin-code.
• Academic details: Pass status, marks secured, total marks, name of school, name of board etc.
• Documents: Scanned images of photograph and signature specimen.

Guidelines for scanned documents

While filling up the application form, candidates are supposed to upload the following scanned images –

• Latest passport size photograph of the candidate
• Signature specimen of the candidate

 

Scanned images must satisfy the following conditions –

• All scanned images must be clear, not blurry.
• Upload your latest passport size photograph.
• Don’t wear cap/mask/sun-glass/dark glass while getting the photograph clicked.
• Signature specimen must be on white paper.
• Sign using black or blue inked pen only.

WBJEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

 

Age limit

• Minimum age required is – candidate should be at least 17 years of age at the time of entrance exam (as on 31st December, 2022).
• There is no upper age limit set by WBJEE board. For marine engineering course, the upper age limit is 25 years.

 

Educational qualifications for B.Tech. admission

• Minimum educational qualification required is – completed 12th Science with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/CS/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Application subjects from a recognized board.
• Minimum aggregate marks required (3 subjects mentioned above combined) is 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates).

 

Educational qualification for B.Pharm. admission

• Minimum educational qualification required is – completed 12th Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/CS/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Application subjects from a recognized board.
• Minimum aggregate marks required (3 subjects mentioned above combined) is 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates).
• Candidates appearing in 12th board final examination are also eligible to apply for this test. However, they must be able to provide proof of passing 12th board and meet other requirements at the time of admission though!

 

Nationality and domicile certificate

• Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
• Candidate from any state or UT of India is eligible to apply.
• Candidates with domicile certificate or proof of nativity will get access to Govt college seats. They may even avail benefits of reservation and tuition fee waiver scheme.
