VITEEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered eligible to appear for this test, a candidate must satisfy certain requirements. These requirements are both academic and non-academic in nature. Educational qualification, age limit and nationality – these parameters form an important part of VITEEE eligibility criteria. Let us check them out –

 

Educational qualification

Minimum educational qualification required is – completed 12th Science with PCM and English subjects. Candidates appearing for 12th Science board exam are also eligible to appear for this test.

 

Minimum aggregate marks required in 12th board exam is 60%. For SC/ST candidates and residents of J&K and northeastern states, minimum aggregate marks required is 50%.

 

Age limit

In order to be considered eligible to appear for VITEEE 2023, a candidate must have date of birth on or after July 1, 2000.

 

Nationality

Indian citizens and non-resident Indian citizens are eligible to apply for this test.

Candidates may apply for this test online or offline. Yes, VIT has given applicants two different registration methods to choose from! Candidates may apply online through the official website of VIT. They may obtain a physical copy of the application form and apply offline too! Physical copy of application form can be obtained from VIT campuses.

Step by step online registration process

  1. Visit the official website of VIT (vit.ac.in)
  2. Search for VITEEE registration link or tab on the website. Click on the link
  3. Register for VITEEE 2023. Candidates will be asked to enter personal details such as – name, DoB, gender, nationality, contact number and email address
  4. After registering successfully, candidates will obtain login credentials via email. Make sure that you enter a valid email address while registering
  5. Login to the official website using the credentials received via email
  6. After logging in, enter necessary details such as – name, academic qualification, address and contact details. After filling up the necessary details, application number will be generated by the system
  7. Apart from personal details, candidates are also supposed to upload scanned images of passport size photo and signature specimen
  8. Pay the application fees online through credit/debit cards, net banking or UPI
  9. Download the application form and keep it for future reference and use

 

Step by step offline registration process

  1. Candidates may obtain VITEEE application form from VIT campuses
  2. Candidates may pay for the application form through demand draft drawn in favor of VIT University Vellore
  3. A candidate must fill up the form carefully using a black ball point pen
  4. Stick recent passport size photograph of the candidate on the assigned space
  5. Make sure that the form has been completely and accurately filled
  6. Send it through speed post or registered post to the following address – Director, UG admissions, VIT, Vellore 632014

VITEEE 2023 Admit Card

VITEEE admit card contains the following details about a candidate – name, photograph, exam center, roll number etc. It is mandatory for a candidate to carry his/her admit card while going to appear for the exam. A candidate won’t be allowed inside the exam center without his/her admit card.

 

How to obtain my admit card, some of you may ask. You’ll obtain your admit card after you book your test slot! Yes, as soon as you successfully book your test slot, VIT will release your admit card. Candidates may download the admit card from the official website of VIT (after entering relevant credentials). They may download and print the card for further use.

 

VITEEE 2023 Result

VIT declares the result on 4th week of April (usually). Result declaration is an online process. Candidates may check out the official website of VIT and check their result. Result declaration is followed by counseling and admission process.

 

VITEEE 2023 counseling and admission process

Along with the result of individual candidates, VIT also releases All India level merit list. Result declaration event kicks-off the whole ‘admission process’. Seats will be distributed among deserving candidates on the basis of their performance/rank in the All India level merit list. Details regarding the counseling process (venue and timings) will be communicated to applicants via email.
