UGAT is a national level entrance exam. It is a management entrance test. The main aim of this test is to facilitate admission of eligible candidates into B-schools for UG level programs such as – IMBA, BBA, BHM, BCA etc.

UGAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
In order to be considered eligible to appear for UGAT, one must fulfill certain conditions. These conditions are both academic and non-academic in nature. Academic conditions consist of aspects such as – educational qualification and minimum aggregate marks required. On the other hand, non-academic qualifications consist of aspects such as – age limit and nationality.

Educational qualification
- Minimum educational qualification required is – completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board (state, CBSE, ICSE etc).
- Candidates appearing for 12th board final exam are also eligible to appear for this test. However, they must be able to provide proof of passing 12th board during counseling or admission process.

Interested candidates may obtain UGAT application form online or offline. Online application form can be obtained from the official website of AIMA. Offline application form can be obtained from listed institutes of AIMA, New Delhi. Offline application form can be purchased by paying 650 INR.
How to apply for UGAT, some of you may ask. Here’s the step by step online registration process –
Step by step online registration process
- Visit apps.aima.in.
- Click on ‘Fresh candidate login’.
- Enter necessary details (name, email id, contact number etc).
- Click on ‘Submit’. You will get a confirmation message via email.
- Access apps.aima.in and click on ‘already logged in candidate click here to complete process’ section.
- Fill up the application form by entering personal and academic details.
- Upload scanned images of passport size photo and signature specimen (of the candidate).
- Make payment. Candidates may pay application fee through credit/debit cards or net banking. They may even pay offline through Demand Draft drawn in favor of AIMA, New Delhi.
- View the final application form.
- Take printout for further use/reference.
Candidates applying through Demand Draft may take printout of the application form (along with the DD) to the following address before the deadline –

Application fee
- UGAT application fee is 650 INR.
- Candidates may obtain offline UGAT application form by paying 650 INR from listed institutes.

UGAT 2021 Syllabus and Exam Pattern
UGAT exam is conducted to facilitate admission into multiple UG level courses – BBA, IMBA, BHM, BCA, B.Sc. etc. Syllabus may vary from one course to another.

UGAT 2021 Admit Card
UGAT admit card contains the following details –
- Name of the candidate
- Roll number
- Date and time of exam

Candidates may download their admit card by following these steps –
- Visit the official website of AIMA.
- Login using your credentials.
- Once admit card has been issued, you will find the download link.
- Download your admit card.
- Take printout for further use/reference.
Candidates are supposed to bring their admit card to the exam center. Without admit card, they won’t be allowed to enter the exam hall.
UGAT 2021 Result
AIMA is known to release UGAT result online. Candidates may check UGAT result by visiting official website of AIMA. Follow these steps to check your result –
- Visit the official website of AIMA.
- Once UGAT result is declared, you will find ‘result’ link on the website. Click on it.
- Enter your roll number and requested information.
- Click the submit button.
- Your result will be displayed on screen.
- Take printout for further use or reference.
UGAT 2021 Counseling & Admission Process
After result declaration, institutes will announce cutoff marks. Based on the cutoff limit set by an institute, candidates may know whether they are eligible to admission in that college or not! If you are eligible, you may take part in the counseling process conducted by that college.
