The list consists of both Government and private nursing colleges. Based on the type of entity that manages the college, nursing colleges in Rajasthan can be classified into two types – Government nursing colleges and private nursing colleges.
Private nursing colleges are managed and owned by private charitable and/or educational trusts. These colleges are also known as self-financing colleges. On the other hand, Govt nursing colleges are usually managed by relevant Government departments.
Govt colleges charge relatively lower tuition fees. In other words, they provide subsidized education to students. If you want to secure admission into a Govt nursing college or reputed private nursing college, you must crack the relevant entrance exam or selection test. These exams/tests are conducted to facilitate the merit-based admission process. However, the admission process may vary from one college to another. Some colleges are known to conduct a direct admission process, while some other colleges are known to carry out a donation-based (management quota) admission process.
B.Sc. Nursing is the most popular nursing course in India. But it is not the only nursing education program available in India though!
