3 General Duty Assistant

7 Home Health Aide

After completing this training program, you will be able to don the role of a home nurse or medical care assistant. Students who have passed 10th class are eligible to pursue this course.   The main task of a home health aide is to provide basic healthcare services to patients. He/she is knowledgeable about areas such as – basics of human body, diseases, human body and its organs, first aid, drugs and dosage etc.   This is a short-term vocational training program. 10th pass students are eligible to apply for admission.

8 Phlebotomy Technician

Phlebotomy is the process of collecting blood from patients. In simple terms, phlebotomy technicians collect blood from patients, label the sample and prepare it for testing. The sample is later analyzed in a medical laboratory. Phlebotomy technicians are basically a part of medical laboratory.   This training program deals with various aspects of phlebotomy such as – relevant equipment, storing and labeling samples, diseases, human body and organs etc.   This is a short-term training program. Students who have passed 12th class are eligible to apply for admission.

Duration

Course duration depends upon factors such as – level of the training program (basic, intermediate or advanced level), course content, type of certification etc. On an average, the duration could be anywhere between 1-6 months.
