As the name suggests, it is a coursework program which involves traditional classroom lectures and coursework. M.Sc. is an example of Master’s Degree course. It is an advanced academic program. In other words, it is a postgraduate level academic program. The main aim of this course is to develop ‘experts’ or ‘specialists’. As we all know, a Bachelor’s Degree program merely lays the academic foundation. On the other hand, the Master’s Degree program is crafted to train students and make them domain-specific experts!
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum qualification required is – completed Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (Hons).
Duration
Duration is generally 1-2 years. Candidates who have applied after completing Bachelor’s Degree pursue 2 years long program and candidates who have applied after completing Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) pursue 1 year long program.
2 Master’s Degree (Research)
Candidates who have completed Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) are eligible to pursue Master’s Degree (Research) program. As the name suggests, this program gives huge importance to research work. Independent research forms the backbone of this program. M.Sc. is an example of Master’s Degree course. It is an advanced academic program. In other words, it is a postgraduate level academic program. The main aim of this course is to develop ‘experts’ or ‘specialists’. As we all know, a Bachelor’s Degree program merely lays the academic foundation. On the other hand, the Master’s Degree program is crafted to train students and make them domain-specific experts!

Minimum qualification required is – completed Bachelor’s Degree.
Duration
Graduate Diploma course duration is 1 year.
4 Graduate Certificate
It is an advanced certificate program. It is a relatively short-term course when compared to Master’s Degree and Graduate Diploma programs. The main aim of this program is to broaden and enhance the skill-set possessed by a Bachelor’s Degree holder.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum qualification required is – completed Bachelor’s Degree.
Duration
Graduate Certificate course duration is 6 months. The duration may vary from one program to another.
5 Doctoral Degree
Technically speaking, Bachelor’s Degree holders are not eligible to pursue these programs. It is only after completing Master’s Degree that you become eligible to pursue relevant Doctoral Degree programs!
