Seats are distributed among deserving and eligible candidates on the basis of their rank or position in the merit list. However, admission process may vary from one college to another. Other modes of admission include – direct admission and merit based admission process.
Under direct admission process, vacant seats are distributed among applicants on a first come, first served basis. Donation based admission process deals with management-quota seats.
