B.Tech. Dairy Technology: Basic course details

It is a 4 years long Undergraduate Engineering Degree program. The 4 years duration is divided into 8 semesters, with each semester lasing a duration of 6 months.

Minimum marks criteria exists, but may differ from one University to another. Generally, it is between 40-50% marks in PCM subjects. Also, state level entrance examination marks are also taken into consideration while allotting seats to candidates.

In case of B.Tech. Dairy Technology graduates, the prime recruiters are Dairy farms and firms that processes dairy products. Average starting salary is generally between 2-4 Lakh Rupees per year.
