B.Voc. stands for Bachelor of Vocation. It is an undergraduate-level course. It is a Bachelor’s Degree course. Technically speaking, it is a vocational training course.
The academic program is three years long. It consists of six semesters. Each semester is six months long. The program gives adequate importance to practical learning and skills.
The minimum educational qualification required to pursue this course is – a 12th pass or equivalent qualification. Subjects required (in the 12th class) may vary from one B.Voc. course to another.
The program also offers multiple entry and exit options. Entry options are quite relaxed for ITI holders, technicians, and professionals with relevant work experience. For candidates who choose to quit the program in between, the course has flexible exit options. The exit options are as follows –
- Diploma certificate after completing one year
- Advanced Diploma after completing two years
