AIHMCT WAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered eligible to apply for this test, a candidate must meet certain requirements. These requirements are both academic and non-academic in nature. Profession of their parents, educational qualification, age limit – these factors form an integral part of AIHMCT WAT eligibility criteria. Let us check them out –

 

Child of army personnel

  • Children of Army personnel who have served the Indian Army for at least 10 years (continuously) are eligible to apply.
  • Children of Ex-Army personnel who were released or discharged after at least 10 years of service are eligible to apply.
  • Children of Ex-Army personnel who have been granted pension, family pension or disability pension at the time of their demise/superannuation/discharge/release are eligible to apply.
  • Children adopted by Indian Army personnel at least five years before the time of admission are eligible to apply.
  • Stepchildren of Indian Army personnel if they are born from a wedding where at least one parent belonged to the Indian Army are eligible to apply.
  • Children of Ex-Army Medical/Dental Corps Officers who are now posted with the IAF or Indian Navy (after serving at least 10 years in the Army) are eligible to apply.
  • Children of APS personnel who have served the Indian Army for at least 10 years are eligible to apply.
  • Children of APS personnel who had been directly recruited in the APS and served APS for 10 years are eligible to apply.

 

Educational qualification

  • Minimum educational qualification required is – completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidate must have had English as a compulsory subject in 12th standard.
  • Candidates appearing for 12th board final exam are also eligible to apply. They must be able to submit proof of qualifying the exam at the time of admission.
  • Candidates pursuing their schooling from National Open School are also eligible to apply. They must obtain and produce class 11th certificate from the school.

 

Age limit

Upper age limit is – 22 years of age as on July 1, 2020.

 

Physical fitness

  • Candidates must meet the physical fitness standards set by the authorities.
  • They shouldn’t have any kind of abnormality in the heart of the lungs.
  • There should be no history of mental illness or epileptic fits.
  • Candidates should have a vision of 6/9 or 6/6 in both eyes (whichever is better).

  3. Find the online application form link and click it.
  4. To fill the application form, you will be asked to register first. Enter personal details like – name, email id, DoB, mobile number and register.
  5. Login using your credentials and fill up the application form.
  6. Upload relevant documents.

  • English language: Synonyms, antonyms, vocabulary, spelling mistakes, fill in the blanks, paragraph formation and completion, formation, completion & correction of sentences, English proficiency etc.
  • Reasoning and logical deduction: Symmetry, visual ability, linear arrangement, analytical reasoning, assumptions, arguments, conclusions, actions, series, symbols etc.
  • Hospitality and tourism: Domain-based questions.

AIHMCT WAT 2021 Admit Card

The admit card contains the following details –

  • Name of the candidate

A candidate must carry his/her admit card to the exam center. Candidates won’t be allowed inside the exam hall without valid admit card. Candidates may download admit card online.
