Last day to apply online 1st or 2nd week of October, 2020

JEE Main 2022 Registration

  1. Visit the official website of JEE Main (jeemain.nta.ac.in).
  2. Search for JEE Main 2022 Application form (January or April session) and click on it.
  3. You’ll find three links – Login button for already registered candidates, fresh registration button and link for candidates who want to login using previous session’s credentials.
  4. If you are have not registered for JEE Main 2022 yet, click on Fresh registration button.
  5. Select the application form and click on new registration option, go through the set of instructions and conditions, tick the box and proceed to the next step.
  6. Fill up the registration form by providing the following details – personal details, contact details, address etc.
  7. Choose a strong password and configure your security question and answer.
  8. Enter the security pin and click on submit button.
  9. Review your registration form, verify the particulars by ticking on relevant boxes.
  10. You may edit your form by clicking on edit registration form button.
  11. Click on the final submit button.

 

After completing registration process successfully, the system will generate an application number. The application number generated by the system and password set by the candidate forms his/her login credentials.

Steps to fill JEE Main 2022 application form

  1. Visit the official website of JEE Main (jeemain.nta.ac.in).
  2. Login using your credentials (application number and password).
  3. Click on the complete application form button.
  4. Fill up the application form by providing the following details – personal details, choice of paper, choice of test center, academic details, additional details, parents’ income details etc.
  5. Enter security pin and click on submit button.
  6. Review your application form. In order to make changes, click on edit application form data button.
  7. Verify the particulars by clicking in relevant buttons.
  8. Click on final submit button.
  9. Click on upload images button and upload scanned images of candidate’s passport size photograph, signature specimen and 12th class admit card/marksheet/certificate.
  10. Enter security pin and click on upload button.
  11. Click on pay examination fee button.
  12. Select preferred payment provider and pay the application fee.
  13. The system will generate a confirmation page. Save it and take its printout for further use/reference.

 

While registering for the test and/or filling the application form, candidates are required to enter the following details –

  • Personal details: Candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, Aadhar number etc.
  • Contact details: Email id, mobile number, address, city, district, state, pin code etc.
  • Academic details (10th and 12th class): Pass status, year of passing, roll number, place of schooling, type of school, result mode, marks secured, name of school, address of school etc.
  • Preferences: Choice of exam, choice of exam city and choice of paper medium.
  • Parents’ income details: Parents’ academic qualification, their occupation and income.

Guidelines for scanned documents

While filling up the application form, candidates are requested to upload the following scanned images –

  • Latest passport size photograph of the candidate
  • Signature specimen of the candidate
  • Candidate’s 12th board admit card/marksheet/certificate

 

Scanned images must satisfy the following conditions –

All scanned images must be clear, not blurry.

 

Candidates may upload colored or black & while photograph.

JEE Main 2022 Correction Process

NTA allows candidates to correct scanned images as well as application form. Photo and application correction windows exist for this purpose.   2. While the image correction window is open, you will be able to find an ‘image discrepancy link’. Click on it.
  3. Enter your credentials (application number and password) and login.
  4. Change the image and submit.

 

JEE Main 2022 Application Form Correction

  2. While the form correction window is open, you will be able to find an ‘application correction’ link. Click on it.
  3. Enter your credentials (application number and password) and login.
